Fall Night Hike

Veterans Day Ceremony

November 11 at 1:30pm. This Veterans Day marks the 100th anniversary of the end of World War I. Gwinnett County will honor veterans who served honorably in war and in peace at its annual Veterans Day ceremony. Army Col. Rick White, a Vietnam veteran originally from Norcross, will be the guest speaker. The Fallen Heroes Memorial, 75 Langley Drive, Lawrenceville.

Kids’ Night Out: Escape Room Edition

November 16 from 6:00pm to 9:30pm. Escape your parents for a night out at Rhodes Jordan Park! Games, crafts, dinner, and fun will be provided. Try our kid-friendly breakout challenge. America Recycles Day | FREE!

November 17 from 9:00am to noon. Clear out your clutter in an environmentally sound way by bringing your unwanted electronics, paint, tires, and documents to America Recycles Day. Paper shredding is done onsite. Gently used sneakers and clothes will be accepted as well. This event offers refreshments and giveaways while supplies last, touch-a-truck displays, a bounce house, face painting, activities for kids, and the opportunity for residents to meet their haulers. 31st Annual Lighting of the Tree | FREE!

November 22 from 5:30pm to 8:00pm. The tradition continues with the lighting of the Great Tree Gwinnett Historic Courthouse lawn on Thanksgiving evening. Santa will light the tree and receive visitors in his living room inside the courthouse. Visitors can enjoy historical guided tours, enjoy kids’ activities, live entertainment, food vendors, and more. Gwinnett Historic Courthouse, 185 Crogan Street, Lawrenceville.

Breakfast with Santa

November 24 from 8:30am to 10:00am. Enjoy a delicious breakfast with Santa in the beautifully decorated Superior Court Ballroom. Make a craft and hear a story from Santa or one of his helpers. Holiday on the Square

November 24 from 11:00am to 2:00pm. Santa is in town so be sure to drop off your wish list, and bring a camera for photos with the Jolly Old Elf. Then enjoy crafts in the Elf Lodge.
