The city’s next series of free photo classes will be geared for the beginner photographer. This class is open to all Peachtree Corners residents and those who work in the city.

Classes are taught by Jim Stone of Tytan Pictures. He, along with several photo and video experts who work with him, offer advice, tips, and instructions.

When: Thursday, Aug 16, 6 – 9 p.m.

Where: Community Chest Room at Peachtree Corners City Hall

Class Size – Limited to 40

Who should come: Anyone interested in photography that wants to take great pictures. Anyone who is frustrated or intimidated by the complexity of the modern digital camera. Enthusiasts and experts who want to learn some new tricks.

Description: How to select the right camera for your use. How to operate your camera with confidence. Take the pictures you want to take and get the results that look professional. No longer be intimidated by all the buttons and options. What to do with the image after you snap the picture. Seminar followed by hands-on workshop.

Bring your own camera or try your hand using one of our cameras.

The class is appropriate for all age levels.

The class begins promptly at 6 p.m so please plan on arriving 10 minutes prior to the start of the class for the best seat and to avoid disturbing the class.
