Bill 832 signed by Deal

On Monday, May 7th, students from Simpson Elementary and Pinckneyville Middle Schools were invited to the Office of the Governor to attend the signing of House Bill 832.

In attendance were Nathan Deal (Georgia governor) Helen Laszlo (5th grade – Simpson), George Laszlo (3rd grade – Simpson), Anna Laszlo (1st grade -Simpson), Caterina Redditi (2nd grade – Simpson) and Isabella Redditi (6th grade – Pinckneyville).  Also, pictured are Scott Hilton, state representative – bill sponsor, Leyani Redditi and Laura Laszlo.

These students represented our schools proudly and were very excited to be able to witness, first hand,  the workings of our government. Our own Isabella Redditi spoke highly of her education to the lawmakers.

The Office of the Governor excused the students from school for the day due to their “appointment in the Office of the Governor in the State Capital.”
