With so much going one I decided to have three guest interviews this week that covers tourism, politics, and MomoCon:
Lisa Anders, Explore Gwinnett Executive Director – Thursday, May 3 at NOON (planned Facebook Live, with a recorded podcast)
Lisa Anders is the Executive Director of Explore Gwinnett, Gwinnett’s official tourism agency. Explore Gwinnett’s mission is to bring convention, meetings, social and sporting events to Gwinnett, market the county and our cities as destinations for dining, events, and visitors, and create overall economic impact. She is Gwinnett County’s “Camera Ready” representative, serving as the county liaison to the thriving film and movie industry as well as to the Georgia Film Office.
With more than 31,000 unique and over 84,000 turnstile attendance in 2017, MomoCon is one of the fastest growing all ages conventions in the country. Fans of Japanese Anime, American Animation, Comics, Video Games, and Tabletop Games come together to celebrate their passion by costuming / cosplay, browsing the huge exhibitors hall, meeting celebrity voice talent, designers, and writers behind their favorite shows, games, and comics and much much more over this 4 day event.
Wesley Person is a candidate running for Gwinnett County Superior Court Judge, Division 2. Wesley is a graduate of Wayne State University and the Walter F. George School of Law at Mercer University in Macon, Georgia. Wesley started his legal career as an Assistant District Attorney in the Griffin Judicial Circuit. As an Assistant District Attorney, Wesley prosecuted many felony criminal cases. This trial experience allowed Wesley to work with numerous members of law enforcement in developing cases from start to finish.
