Mayor Mike Mason delivered his fourth State-of-the-City address on Friday, July 15 at a breakfast meeting at the Hilton Hotel in Peachtree Corners. The event was presented by the Peachtree Corners Business Association.

The mayor used the event to point to a number of success in the city’s first four years as Gwinnett County’s newest city – and highlighted its vision for the future.

On the mayor’s list was several key initiatives including the city’s efforts to revitalize the Holcomb Bridge Road corridor and the newly launched Comprehensive Transportation Plan which the city will use to guide transportation improvements and investments over the next 20 years.

He also provided an:

  • update on the Town Center
  • the plans for the Innovation Hub in Technology Park
  • an update on the new business incubator which is scheduled to open later this year\
  • the plans for a multi-use trail (The 11-mile trail system will crisscross through the city’s business parks, retail centers and residential communities.)
