Community leader and conservative Scott Hilton is running for the State House District 95 seat in the Republican Primary May 24th.
Current District 95 Representative Tom Rice recently announced his plans to retire. District 95 covers Peachtree Corners, Berkley Lake, and Norcross in Gwinnett County and part of Johns Creek in Fulton County.
“Through prayer and careful consideration, our family is pleased to announce my campaign for the Georgia State House. As State Representative, it will be an honor to build on a lifetime passion of serving my neighbors and the broader community. I am excited to have the opportunity to contribute back my time and talents toward keeping Georgia as one of the best states to live, work and play.”
“As an outsider to politics, I am running to champion conservative ideals based on a successful career in private industry. I will leverage my experience from a 10-year career in commercial banking to promote conservative, free-market solutions that reduce taxes and eliminate government programs that hinder business expansion. We need to keep focused on attracting new industry and quality jobs to our state and region.”
“I will support efforts to improve education through reforms that put students and those with special needs first. I will stand firm for our conservative values by protecting the right to life and defending our Constitutional right to worship freely.”
