Peachtree Corners Election

The next scheduled election for Peachtree Corners is November 7, 2017. The purpose will be for electing three (3) members of City Council. The City Council posts to be voted on are Post 2, Post 4, and Post 6. Post 2 is elected by a majority vote of electors in the district, Posts 4 and 6 are elected by a majority vote of electors of the city at large.

There are presently no term limits for these positions. In order to qualify for the position of Mayor or Councilmember you must meet the following requirements:

  1. Must be a one (1) year City of Peachtree Corners resident as of the first Tuesday in November of the year for which you are qualifying.
  2. Must be a registered voter.
  3. Must state which seat/person for which you are qualifying.
  4. Must pay a qualifying fee of $240 (3% of Council pay) or, if running for the Mayoral seat, $270 (3% of Mayor’s pay).

Post 4: Jeanne Aulbach

Post 6: Weare Gratwick

Qualifying dates are Monday, August 21 through Wednesday, August 23 from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon and then 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Qualifying will be conducted in the Office of the City Clerk, Kym Chereck, located at 147 Technology Parkway, Suite 200, Peachtree Corners, Georgia 30092.
