Would you rather be a spectator? Become a phantom runner (which includes a t-shirt) and you and your friends can cheer on the runners as they navigate through the neighborhoods. Join the warm up instructor from the YMCA and get grooving to the music before the 5K. Need a massage? Touchstone Therapeutic Massage will again be on hand to give sports massages. Before, during, and after the race, our Fowler YMCA will entertain our youngest inside the gym.
To top it off, you’ll get the coolest t-shirt! You can wear it while you enjoy the delicious spread from Jason’s Deli; coffee from Starbuck’s on PIB/South Old Peachtree and baked goods from two local Girl Scout troops. Get your photos taken with the famous Chick-fil-A cow! Stick around for our exciting raffle drawing after the awards ceremony. Runners will be automatically entered to win and spectators can buy tickets for a chance to win gift cards and items from restaurants, athletic stores, and other area businesses (must be present to win).
The organization would like to extend a huge thank you to our major sponsors: New Balance at the Forum, Jason’s Deli and Norcross Sports Training Academy (NSTA). Thanks also to O’Leary Design Group and Bardi Heating, Cooling, and Plumbing.
Proceeds from this student- led event help pay for NHS’ cross country/track & field participation fees so every student can take part, regardless of financial status. The race also offsets uniform and equipment costs, meet fees, travel expenses, and provides opportunities to participate in out-of-state competitions.
It’s not too late to become a sponsor! Sponsors’ names/logos are placed on the race t-shirt, website, Facebook page and are represented in the gym on race day.
