Light Up The Corners, Inc. presented $25,000 to the Robert D. Fowler YMCA at the Board of Directors meeting on October 18, 2016. Nearly 1,000 runners and walkers participated in the 4th annual Light Up The Corners Twilight Trot and Glow Run on August 13th, with 100% of the entry fee benefitting the WhY It Matters campaign at the YMCA. Executive Director of the Fowler YMCA, Mark Thornell, expressed gratitude to the sponsors, volunteers, and participants who made this possible, announcing that “100% of the $25,000 contribution raised by the race will be used to provide scholarships to families in our community that could not otherwise afford our services and programs”.
