Dave Huffman is president of the Peachtree Corners Festival organizing committee.  This is his fourth year working on the festival and his third as president.

He had a career as an electrical engineer and was the Chief Scientist in charge of research and development for a displays electronics company here in Alpharetta for almost 30 years before retiring in 2010.

Since his retirement, he spends most of his time in volunteer activities including the Festival, working at Pinckneyville Middle School media center, and assisting in refugee relocation through World Relief and his church.

Dave and his wife Laura have lived in Peachtree Corners since 1986.  They met at Georgia Tech where they both earned electrical engineering degrees.  Following an engineering career with Lucent Technologies,  Laura is currently an intellectual property attorney with King & Spalding LLP.  They have one son, Matthew, who has just finished his first year at Georgia Tech.
