Priscilla Millette, Georgia Laws of Life Essay Winner, Honored by School Board

The Gwinnett County Board of Education recently recognized Priscilla Millette for being the state winner of the 2009-2010 Georgia Laws of Life Essay Contest.  A rising sophomore at Norcross High School, Priscilla was awarded $1,000 after her essay was selected from more than 44,000 essays entered into the contest this year.

The contest is conducted by the Georgia Rotary Districts Character Education Program, and is supported by Rotary Clubs throughout the state, including the Rotary Club of Peachtree Corners.  The Georgia Laws of Life Essay Contest is in its 12th year of promoting character values and ethical literacy among high school students in the state.
