The Actor’s Edge offers summer drama camps in two locations
Young actors throughout Gwinnett can take part in drama camps this summer with The Actor’s Edge in Duluth and Suwannee locations.
Now in its third year, TAE camps bring high quality and affordable dram instruction to children and teens ages 8 to 17. The weeklong camps run weekdays from June 7 through July 30, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. The cost is only $185 per week.
Both beginning and veteran acting students can choose Musical Theater, Improv, or Acting. TAE hires professional actors, drama teachers and college theater majors to provide excellent instruction in safe and well-supervised environments. Each week concludes with an exciting on-stage performance for friends and family.
The Musical Theater camp teaches acting technique, singing, stage presence and dance. In the Acting camp, students analyze scripts, develop characters and learn audition technique. The Improv camp not only teaches comedy, but also stage presence, public speaking and quick thinking.
TAE holds camps in safe and spacious facilities. In Duluth, TAE camps are at the Notre Dam Academy at 435 River Green Parkway. The Suwanee camps are at Pulse PAC at 424 Buford Highway.
